The objective of this project was to enhance the existing Inspection Management portal by integrating an automated invoice processing module. This module needed to be configuration-based and adaptable to various types of services and jobs provided by the client. Additionally, a discovery phase was required to define the design and business workflow for the new module

Invoice Automation Module:
- CRUD operations for recurring services with invoicing dates.
- Admin functionality to view and update recurring invoice configurations.
- Ability to map jobs to services for invoicing and turn auto invoicing on or off.
- Automatic invoice generation upon job completion.
Invoice Processing:
- Automated invoice creation when reports are uploaded by inspectors.
- Cron job for recurring invoices on a monthly basis.
- Automated reminders for due invoices.

Carmatec proposed a comprehensive solution to enhance the Inspection Management portal by integrating an automated invoice processing module. This included both a discovery phase to define the business workflows and design and a development phase to implement the module. The solution aimed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of invoice processing, reducing manual intervention and ensuring timely invoicing.
